How long will this take?

The short answer to how long psychotherapy or couples counseling will will take is up to you. I have worked with clients who have seen me on a weekly basis for many years. Others come in only for a few sessions and recieve the help they need. Often these are clients who are dealing with a crisis and need solution focused help. When the crisis is over, they leave and may return when another event arises. An individual session is typically 45 minutes. In the beginning, Couples Counseling and EMDR sessions are double sessions. The bottom line is, you decide how long this will take.
